Parvin Azizi, M.D., is a New Jersey-based child neurologist in private practice with a subspecialty in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. Her clinical expertise is in Autism, ADHD and Neurodevelopmental Divergence in children, as well as special interest in Autonomic Disorders or Dysautonomia.
She began her clinical work in 1993 as the first neurologist to join the Department of Pediatrics Developmental Disorders and Disabilities at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences in Iran. After immigrating to the United States in 2003, she obtained her residency and post-doctoral research fellowship in the Pediatric Neurology and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Residency Programs at Baylor College of Medicine’s Texas Children’s Hospital.
She has since gone on to hold assistant professorships combining her love of clinical treatments and teaching at the Universities of New Mexico, California (San Francisco), and Maryland. She was formerly part of NeurAbilities Healthcare in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, before deciding to go into private practice.
